Studio 55

Our photographic studio, called Studio 55, is located within the premises of the business, Selectronic. We specialise in portrait photography, including weddings and other location-shoots. The studio is of a moderate size, allowing groups of up to five adults or children, or a combination thereof. We would, however, discuss all of your requirements and/or desires for the shoot, with you, over the phone, or in person at the studio in Selectronic, to determine the best option for your professional photo session. Since we offer home/location shoots, too, with all of the necessary professional photographic equipment being portable, if you would like a larger group to be included in certain shots, we are easily able to oblige.

Rob is one of the managing partners and owners of Selectronic. He is Studio 55's head photographer. He has many years of experience in photography, particularly regarding his years spent as a professional artist painting fine-art with watercolour paints. He successfully practised as an artist for a decade, before moving, with his family, to England. Prior to his time as a professional fine-artist, Rob was a sound-engineer in the film industry, for 15 years. Therefore, he knows all about the various aspects of sets, such as lighting and positioning. Specifically for the studio, his experience is in portraiture, photographing mostly birds in the wild, and then creating paintings of the pictures. After maintaining the photographic side of his previous artwork, thereby resulting in over two decades of experience, Rob advanced to professional photography, specialising in studio and on-location portraiture, including wedding photography.
