Hot off the Press!
With so much content creation and editing on the rest of the website, it's been a while since the studio's blog was updated. Time for some Spring cleaning, and what a time it is! We just completed a corporate press release photo-shoot for Local Dialogue and National Grid. In Boreham, near Chelmsford, National Grid sponsored a Mad Science day at Boreham Primary School and Raspberry Pi computers for New Hall School, to mark the electrification of the railway, in link with Network Rail. The various parties involved are issuing press releases which will include the photographs taken by Studio 55's principal photographer, Rob.
The Mad Scientists were fun and engaging with the kids at Boreham Primary. Hopefully they inspired some of the children to pursue science! At New Hall, the students entered the room in groups for their respective time-slots. They used the hardware in a free manner, playing with it to learn about it on their own. And at the site, a main PR shot was taken for National Grid, with the Project Manager positioned between people from Network Rail, in front of the huge reels of enormous cable.
Oh, and there was a pet cat curled up snug in its basket on the reception desk at Boreham Primary School. Yes. That's right.
